FIRST ENTRY! yay!

hihihihihihi BLOG,
this is my first ever new entry. PRETTY EXCITING HUH! Thanks so much Xiu Ming for coming over to my house today evening to help me to set up the blog sorry i'm dumb on this techie blog stuff. When I requested for her help over MSN.

hahah i dumb arse right!!! hahha. xm was really a great help. hahha when she came my house she still cannot believe i don't know how to deal with the copy and paste of HTML and stuff... THANKS XM!!!

Anyway I think I would update with photos often rather than words, because I'm not so good with words (can't type flowery stuff/ grassy stuff) joke intended HAHAHA!!. Also, pictures tell a thousand words what. So I'll be writing like A LOT of words. *hiak hiak.

As you can tell people, I'm quite quite high now. =) Hence I shall continue posting.

CAMERON HIGHLANDS and KL trip (last sat to this tues)

I went to Malaysia with family, the whole bus consisted of cousins and uncles and aunties. Didn't buy a lot of stuff/souvenirs since I go Malaysia like once a month. Largely for grocerry shopping and bak ku teh (AH SOON BAK KU TEH JB ROCKS!!). Though they say Johor Bahru is becoming more and more dangerous (think thefts, robberies) right now, but the stronger Singapore currency still attracts my family there, or rather my dad.

OK back to Cameron Highlands trip. Great air they have there. Pity the rain though if not shopping at the local night markets was quite fun. We visited a Bee farm, Tea Planatation (BOH Tea, did u know BOH= Best of Highlands? I never knew), Strawberry farm... But the most amazing stuff I saw there were the biggie and very very pretty flowers and catuses. Are cactuses flowers? But cactuses do have flowers on them sometimes. So I guess they are plants? Ok i realise this is very very dumb blond of me. *sheesh.

Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia was much of a disappointment. Maybe because I expected the shopping to be fabulous, at least comparable to Thai's but I was wrong- very very wrong. Walked with Mum around Berjaya Times Square and Sungei Wang but only bought a miserable Abercombie Polo Shirt (RM 30). Somehow the stuff they sold it didn't really attract me much though the prices were slightly cheaper than Sgp's.

Also, an incident with a curt shopkeeper made me =x with their service standards. This is what happened. I asked to try on a pair of heels, and they didnt have my size in that colour. I asked for another colour, same design, same size. She asked me, 小姐，你真的要这双鞋吗？？你要我才下去找。(Translation: Miss, you really want this pair of shoes? If you really want then I go and take for you. Note: the shop had another branch a floor below) HELLO?? I am the customer lei. Not that I ask to try on A LOT OF SHOES. It's like just another pair then she should go and get the shoes for me, upon request. Not that mum and me didn't buy any stuff from her yet. Mum actually bought a pair of sneakers from the shop. I was kind of pissed at her attitude then just said nvm, not interested. =S SO much for service.

KL's Chinatown consisted of many illegal hawkers selling pirated handbags and shoes. Like Gucci, LV, Adidas shoes. These were aplenty. In addition, though the hotel I stayed in was pretty good, location and roomwise, but outside the streets outside the hotel made me feel uneasy. Too many touts for massage parlours!!

Summing up KL, disappointing.

I miss Bangkok shopping!!!! CHEAP! niceee!! GOOODD!! Shall post my Bangkok trip photos maybe in the next few days. LOVE THAILAND
