my thailand trip
9:45 am
hey its me AGAIN hahaha as promised my trip to amazing thailand.. toook me quite long to post, so pls tag to let me know people are reading. haha. okokay!! anyway just to inform u guys i spent about $250 on shopping ALONE. in my opinion its quite alright.. i bought like 4 pairs of shoes (flats, for uni, cos i imagine i prolly be running to classes), 6-7 tops and stuff... so cha bu duo lo... BTW, FYI:
air tix and hotel kindly subsidised by mummy dearest. :) ps: IF U GUYS have any qns. on thailand feel free ask me, my mum is an expert in shopping in bangkok. pss: there are no photospreads on bkk scenery/whatsoever cos i've been there quite a few times so i din find a need to take e photos. DAY ONEEEEEEE: SHOPPING AND MASSAGE though the airport is supposedly quite new, tiles are cracking. and its not very well built. we left for arnoma hotel, this hotel near chitlom mrt, then pratunam wholesale centre, embarking on buying clothes, shoes. Had to cut short the SHOPPING for massage! Booked via internet, recommended by mum's self-indulgent colleague... Aromatherapy Massage- S$70 (w 10% disc) Body Scrub- S$85? (w 10% disc) for 140mins i think the pricing is reasonable cos its very professional. (FROM LEFT) mummy, daddy, me!, cindy, getty (cousin who is more like a lil sister) looks like... some jelly or dessert right? these are actually the diff oils/ scrubs that u get to choose from... i chose lavendar oil... relaxing purposes (the person say de) and were able to see parts of each other being massaged if we happened to look too left/right. like how cindy was able to ask me why the person massaged My right leg for half an hour. (peeping cindy) ahhaha. REALLY!! HALF AN HOUR. but since the massage was for 2 hours, u divide ur body into 4 parts and the left leg is like 1/4 part, so makes sense to massage it for 30min. used to take our baths after the massage the wood is like good wood. (likely, i think) body scrub (hers) throughout massage my bones were creaking. like KruuK KruuuK.. quite embarrassing when the person touching near sensitive parts forgot to tip them... but took photos with them.. DOES tt pardon us?? see they purposely make durians look evil... thats why ang mors are scared of them..
(i know u guys are jealous!!) how to play with a donut. chatuchak/siam square/ back to more shopping at pratunam not really for labels in a shopping mall.. SO OFF WE WENT TO chatuchak! (didnt take any shopaholic photos here.. PLEASE. serious shoppers bargaining hardly have time to whip out cameras) but why is the chinese translation sha-la bao? shouldnt it be better to call the baos kuai le bao? DAD was ultra happy- he's the dad that loves DISCOVERYchannel and nature and he sent me on a mission to take photos of orchids...
think they have like a zillion categories... (sorry i cant understand thai) DAY THREE: LAST MIN SHOPPING N BACK TO SGP we didnt really take a lot more photos le... cos the next day was spent in a rush to do some last min shopping at thai's chinatown, realised should have allocated some time next time to do some serious accessories shopping there, cos like charms and stuff are like at real cheap prices... I LOVE THAILAND.. one of my fave shopping destinations! :) and yummy food and coca/MK steamboat!!! Labels: holiday |
