grandpawent to japanese garden for a walk again in the morning with mum, bro, maid and grandpa. somehow the location for our family weekly sunday morning exercise has changed from bt timah hill ( no joke, we used to go there every sunday morning at about 650), okay maybe not EVERY for me, but my parents did. now the new location is chinese garden/japanese garden/lakeside park (whatever the real name is) near my grandma's place. dad wasnt free this week as he had to do some 7th month prayer stuff for his office. i.e. bt timah= high intensity hill trekking; chinese garden is walking and seeing fishes. mainly cos grandpa can't really walk on his own now. in fact he has to get around in a wheelchair, so we had to wheel him. somehow the sunday mornings with him make me realise how fast things can change. looking back, it wasn't that long ago when he was taking roller coasters with me at the amusement parks overseas(he was really as fit as a fiddle then). he's the most "on" granddad ever, game for all sorts of stuff. he would crack jokes when we were on trips overseas when it was raining, like telling the tour guide he'll call the rain god for the rain to stop. Then one day, cancer struck him. He was strong, held through and we thought everything was going to be fine when doctor said he was recovering well. Then the cancer came back again this year, it worsened and now, he's a bit childlike and he gets cold easily, has to wear gloves and like even some basic stuff like eating and all he needs someone to feed him/ assist him to bathe. ahh. and sometimes he can't really rmb who i am, often mistaking me for my cousin. ( i know i should go over and find him more often) as usual i do not have much of a conclusion, just writing down what comes to my mind. and just wanted to say life is precious` who knows what will happen tomorrow so treasure those around you. show love` (im writing this down to help me rmb to do it too) other ramblings anyway mid autumn fest is coming. went taka today and there's the mooncake thing in the central area. just kept eating the samples =p and mum&me didn't buy any mooncakes yet. cos we both thought sampling was sinful enough! but i think when we next go prolly buy bakerzin's snowskin mooncakes! really good le. :) and go crown prince to buy yam moon cakes (teochew style). plus mum is a savvy shopper! we saved about $30 today cos we bought bag at OG instead of taka. cos OG having anniversary sales then they have 20% discount on GUESS? stuff and i saw the bag at taka but bought at OG orchard point. ehh do the math and u know how much the bag costs =p okay thats all for now i think i'll go for a run. i feel the calories on my butt (likely due to the afternoon's mooncakes) |

a little fluffy. but don't take life too seriously! a little temperamental, a little emotional! (but i'm a girl :))) and sometimes she just talks too much when she's nervous. :D :D chitchat
