hello everyone! happy new year 2008! (AS im typing this i hear loads of screaming from my block downstairs, wonder why on earth are they so excited about going to 2008. taxi fares are increasing, even my fave vegetarian beehoon has increased from $2.50 TO $3! bahhhh but anyway perhaps a new year a new beginning?? well. maybe. look on the bright side lah! hahahahn and advancing to a new year isn't so exciting when u think u're going to hit the big 20 soon! omg! im going to be 20 years old in about 2 months thats so damn old! *no offence to the other older people)

yesterday, new year's eve was spent with shuhui and zhimin, my council pals from 25TH RVSC. :) i woke up real early to go ah ma's house first and was playing on the nintendo dx (or ds? i donno) and it was fun leh! the brain age game. wahahah i beat my 8year old cousin at some calculation game. his record was like 40seconds aka at walking speed. mine's 17 seconds aka at train speed! :))) woohooo so fun lah! bro says since school term is starting for them i can go get his nintendo back so i can play. yayyy!!! (side tracking) so happy to meet up with 2 of them esp. shuzie cos ever since she was attached and stuff we have been a bit don't-dare-to-call-her-out! but thank goodness i did last week during joy's xmas party!

it's really nice to know that she hasn't changed a bit and she's still the familar xushuhui we all know!

started off with LUNCH AT MISS CLARITY'S CAFE

then we proceeded to bras basah to buy some japalat stuff at my request to make a card for my friend! :))) familarity and old friends rock!

then THREE OF US went PEOPLE'S PARK!

3 of us went people's park cos zhimin needed to go see a TCM (zhong yi) for his coughs! so off we went. i think the greatest thing about being tgt with people u know really well and for very long is the comfort and ease that when they say "it's okay" they really mean it.

like how we waited with zhimin for his turn to see the doctor for about 3-4hours! its really okay boy! :) but it was alright as we were talking about random stuff and catching up on our lives! i was making a lot of jokes about TCM along the way and like how the ah pehs and obasans seeemed to be staring at me cos i was in a leggings and skirt outfit. or maybe i too pretty hahah! no lah!

obasan: aiyo! this girl ah! wear skirt or wear pants? why wear both one? aiyo aiyo!

ah peh: wahlau! this gal! cheng gun a si cheng kor? jin ki guai! yi siao ah! (hokkien)

so not to worry chen zhimin! we had plenty of self amusement while waiting along with you! like sms-ing one of his friends (whom i knew from social night) and pretending that chen zhimin was gay and in love with him! the friend was so worried that he called chenzhimin up! waahahahha! ok lah i wu liao nothing better to do was looking for amusement! and it's quite fun to learn about new stuff like how things operate in a TCM clinic! random interests rock!

and i never knew a TCM doctor must wait so long one! earn big bucks lor those of u at NTU TCM COURSE! HAHAHA!

i think its such a brilliant combi! why didnt i think of it! cos or nee (yam paste) and black glutinous (or bi beh) are my favesss! i think its so interesting that 2 very different stuff can have such interesting tastes when combined!! like my fave papaya milk!
