6 reasons how you know your mum is mad about korean dramas1) she gives excuses like "very tired" when 4th aunty asks her out for shopping but is immediately energized when she reaches home to follow up on her drama serial 2) she sleeps at 12am (late for a mummy who doesnt have to do housework) and wakes at 630 (watches korean drama for 1 hour before going to work) 3) you two end up arguing over whether she has watched the drama before V: (comes up briefly from room to catch a 2min of the episode) eh.. i think u watch before liao, i rmb the same fella... Mum: NEVER LAH! V: really? is it.... this this that that happen?(recalls scenario briefly and continue pointing to tv, realising i must have watched before w mum too since she always "forces me to watch") Mum: NO LAH, I really never watch before!!!! The scenarios are quite similar! (concentrating still) V: Watch before lah! Mum: NEVER LAH! AIYAH AIYAH...,DONT DISTURB ME LAH (very defensive, changes topic) ** her colleagues lend her all the time, so hence she prolly doesnt realise she watched it before 4) she gets happy when she realises she's watching faster than the speed scv is playing it 5) she even says the prelude theme song is funny. (excuse me, how can theme songs be funny?) 6) she learns korea can be a place for sep and ask you, eh why u never choose korea lah??? korea so fun! haiyo... 7) on her company leisure trips, she hogs a dvd player along together with a box of korean dramas 8) she suggests to eat korean food and when u ask eh.. what u want to eat she says "korean pao cai ramen soup" (which happens to be what the kter was cooking on tv) conclusion: i think older women are very cute like my mum lah! hahahah (: my dad is so super funny tooo lor. he bought a whole dozen of donuts for me. -------------------------------------- absence makes the heart fonder? i would say it depends, really. |
the girl
vivien is a nus bizader, twentythree and loved by her family and friends. she loves travelling
and taking photos and losing weight. (not necessarily the process) she is generally nice (she thinks!)
a little fluffy. but don't take life too seriously! a little temperamental, a little emotional! (but i'm a girl :))) and sometimes she just talks too much when she's nervous. :D :D chitchat
