 (ooh i love sepia photos) this was what i did on saturday! finally a narrative entry! the hongkong friends invited us (this means some singaporeans, chinese aussie and taiwanese) to their place because they had a surprise birthday for benny, a fellow hongkong guy.  benny and cakes! at the end it wasnt so surprise anyway since he sort of found out about it but nonetheless it was a very heartwarming party (: the hongkong people are really good at cooking. they make me want to cry when i think of my own cooking skills. so inadequate.  winter decorating the cake. and it looks so smooth and pretty!  when i say good i dont mean the usual 'stir-fry' stuff. i mean they can do like cakes(above), like damn professional can. chocolate top and all. the above depicts tiramisu, coffee cake and apple cinnamon cake. and they don't do the cheat method of brownie mixes. its like from scratch and this is like WOW since it's so hard to find ingredients here in copenhagen. i swear i'm going to learn and sign up for cooking classes after this and pick up some skills. the hong kong girl, winter can really cook super well. i wonder if im really a girl. :(( sigh sigh. singapore has spoilt me rotten with cheap food, maid, mum and all.  after the party  portebello mushrooms and cheese lasagne  sugar chicken, skin is crisp and juicy and sweet, melting right in your mouth  the party people  birthday boy and part of his present  It snowed when we left the place... cold cold cold! In the morning/afternoon, we went field's the largest shopping mall in scandinavia. it's like vivocity sized. so nothing too amazing but i guess, perhaps cos in europe they are not too used to the mall concept and instead prefer pretty walking streets with individual shops.  Danish crossiants eating. not too expensive. like 2.50 sing per crossiant  h&M jumper thing. super on sale so its like 8 bucks sing only! bought a cute royal blue jacket too! but i didnt take a photo  i bought this sweet looking thing from zara! bought a zara belt too for less than sing 10 bucks. please send me mail! send me mail! (which is ex. :( and postage also ex) hahahah :D i want singapore postcard! (some blank ones would be niceee! so i can write on it here) and a singapore keychain for my keys in my residence! (: some random stuff also? a letter? please.... since vivien's REAL 21st is coming so soon! (hope you haven't forgotten) heehee |
the girl
vivien is a nus bizader, twentythree and loved by her family and friends. she loves travelling
and taking photos and losing weight. (not necessarily the process) she is generally nice (she thinks!)
a little fluffy. but don't take life too seriously! a little temperamental, a little emotional! (but i'm a girl :))) and sometimes she just talks too much when she's nervous. :D :D chitchat
