Day 1- Copenhagen to London Gatwick (22nd April)so it was my first trip, alone out of copenhagen! before this i hesitated about travelling alone, being a single girl. but i decided to pluck up my courage since it was singapore day during the weekend on 25th and my other friends in cph had planned to go to london only at the end! i was lucky my other bizad friends also planned to go during the same weekend! so i arrived at copenhagen airport nice and early to board the easyjet flight to london telling myself "i got to be careful, i got to look out for myself" it was kind of funny when i was on board the plane then i realised the plane was going to be delayed for nearly an hour. (i thought) then i realised it's due to the 1 hour time difference btwn CPH and London! oh my, 'cos i was worried as i arranged to meet shu ann at a certain timing which i had to catch a certain bus. it turned out my worries were unfounded as we reached Gatwick in good time. and ... tada...!  so i collected my luggage then later realised i missed the easybus by 2min and had to wait 20min for another one. oh well but on boarding the bus i felt a weird sense of familarity. i wondered why. BUT THEN I REALISED the signboards are in english! people are talking in english! the radio was in english! people are reading english newspapers! AND... I CAN UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING~ hahhahaha. oh well u must think i'm mad. but it was a long time since i saw english signs! i mean like in cph signs were in danish, stockholm swedish, germany german, russia russian. YAYYY. oh well. i felt a sense of home... and english houses all look so quaint and nice.. then as the bus turned into the alighting place.. i saw a familar person AND I WAVED SO VERY FRANTICALLY. SHU ANNNNNNNN!!!!!!!! hahaha :D:D so very nice of her to wait for me there. AHHH love! and im really very touched by how she brought kristine and me everywhere all the time.  so we ate krispy kremes which was just available at the tube station! overpriced and okay only. :D not that big a fan of donuts already  this is the station where she stays! Angel (and where angie stays too)  her desk  her room (note same pillow cover, from IKEA) we rested for a while and then headed to oxford street!  imo, oxford street is better than orchard road, better than stroget!!  PRIMARK HEAVEN! primark is this retailer on oxford street that sells clothes, lingerie, accessories bla bla bla at dirt cheap price. it can even be cheaper than BANGKOK! yah so of cos i bought quite some stuff there. like colourful stockings (pretty checked ones that i wore to cambridge 2 days later but tts 5SGD) for 2SGD because it's so cheap, people inside are buying as if things are free queues are terribly long, things are kind of like messy but oh well what to expect? since it's cheap la!  so we continued on to a lot of shops passed by muji, selfridge, uniqlo, topshop, dorothy perkins.. blabla and shu ann was very kind :D:D and understanding to my photowhoring habits.   (thanks dear) we got sort of tired and hungry and set off to eat very british fish & chips. ((:   this is cod fish i think! it was alright i think the taste was a little too light for my liking  us with our primark shopping buys! Day 2- London ( City tour + Hairspray the muscial) The day started with me getting up from Shu Ann's bed Shu Ann was really kind to share her bed with me. hohoho :D:D okay but wait, that's not the point. somehow i thought i had a huge luggage allowance, so i decided to bring my laptop along as i also had to communicate with my group members in cph. okay (not the point yet) so i woke up and then decided to check my mail. so i unplugged shu ann's lan cable and thought that immediately i would be able to go online (i was wrong) so i decided to trial and error and omggg i just clicked yes to installing the place's(her dorm's) network on my computer. AND NOW THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED. i was locked from my own computer and i HAD TO key in some password! which i obviously didnt have oh myyyyyyyyyyyyy.... i was like OH NO... HOW AM I GOING TO communicate with my family, do my homework for the remaining 2 months! and plus i didnt bring my CD DRIVE TO COPENHAGEN! oh my oh my. so i tried restarting my computer. but that didnt work. i tried pulling out the lan cable that didnt work too. then shu ann woke up suggested that i can google online for solutions. BUTonline wasnt too helpful. ahhh so i sent a SOS email to my brother then i somehow got an inspiration to do something else (which is a little hard to elaborate) and oh my... it worked! i was like OMGGGG yay! (i honestly think i am lucky and unlucky in my own ways)mostly lucky though but we ended up being late and i couldnt really enjoy the breakfast shu ann "made" HAHAHHA i must be a lucky girl! dozens of guys would die to be in my place hahhahah!  waffles, bread, green apple juice  we met kristine at the tube station and we set off to buy our hairspray tickets cos they have great seats in e morning!  i love their unique red postboxes!  so we walked all the way there roughly 30min i guess! and bought the evening's tickets! it was like 7 rows from the front but only 22.5 pounds! 'cos with ISIC card there was student discount! yayy happy! and of course to celebrate with a krispy kreme or KRIST-py kreme. (heehee, cos kristine!)  yayy so fun.  :D:D  while im typing this i realised in london i look so happy! when im with my bizad girls!  taken at tube station :D:D  so we reached the place where we were going to start the free tour!        Trafalgar Square where the brits celebrate everything and anything  house of parliament  big ben  london phone booth! :D:D coolness i bought a london-phone booth pencil case too!  craving for chinese food, we headed to chinatown. A FIRST REAL CHINATOWN! & u really dont know how long krist and i havent had dim sum! cos like im in cph and she's in netherlands, u don't get chinese food so easy!!! :( lucky shu ann (who stays in london)  we picked this restaurant-simply cos its dim sum was cheaper and plus shu ann wanted mango pudding :D   fried rice was a little bit reluctant to order it since that's what i cook all e time! as in really in copenhagen. hahahhaha and i secretly think that my fried rice tasted better than this.  HAR GAU!  chee cheong fun and XIA JIAO!  char siew PAO!  the bill was around 16 sgd per person i think. OMG CHEAP RIGHT. of cos it wasnt crystal jade standards but it was alright for london and the quality i guess i think here in cph 16 sgd can't even get u a macdonalds meal. AHHHH I MISS LONDON ALREADY  picadilly circus, the eros?  harrods! :D pretty dept store     now they have the new series of vera wang rock princess! smells really nice! (perfume)  roxy doll! thats so russian doll inspired  hyde park  reminds me so much like botanic gardens  we trudged through here to go to oxford street once again and then...  speakers corner at london hyde park! but no one was speaking... :(  don't let the brightness of the photo fool u! it was actually nearly 730pm we power-walked all the way from oxford street to here (took us like 30min)  full house!  the theatre the performance was BRILLIANT FANTASTIC BEST GREAT WOWWWW~!!! sooo good. young and old alll happy from the musical!  we trudged home...
