i'm packing 5 months worth of stuff into 2 suitcases.not exactly having trouble yet because i havent stuffed everything esp souvenirs, H&M buys and chocolates but i don't really think i will have problems with luggage limit because i managed to get a family friend to increase my luggage limit by pretty much alot thank goodness for connections! if not i think my overweight luggage could probably buy me a plasma TV (random) packing is when you go "sigh i shouldn't have brought so much stuff here" yeah i brought 54kilos worth of stuff for 5 mths here :D and somehow there's no clothes i want to throw! but yes for socks (partly because i'm lazy to wash them) threw away so much souvenir maps and everything. but i dont wanna throw away my shiny brown boots which i bought for 9bucks in singapore! that i wore yesterday to tivoli's concert where james morrison was singing ![]() ![]() and according to brother a danish girl was eyeing my boots. (: yes, and it was only 9sing. ![]() w bro at tivoli! (raining, so rain drops) la glace ![]() ![]() charm and me with cake ![]() sports cake- named after a sports inspired play in the 1800s lunch was a slice of cream layered cake- their most famous from copenhagen's oldest bakery la glace. i almost died from the influx of cream their most famous cake! conclusion: one man's meat is another man's poison too much cream makes me sick i am not a fan of cream :S even if it is nougat laced. but the macaroon base was heavenly. had dinner just now with jenia, charmaine and rachel ![]() disposable BBQ pit- yeah you didnt see wrongly we had to 'do it' in the bathroom cos the stupid kitchen windows cannot be opened our last dinner together since char and rachel leaving for budapest tmr we tried to cook whatever we had and i resorted to just opening the freezer and taking random people's chicken because we're clearing the freezer (not stealing the chicken) hahah cos there's only 3 left on my floor. and oh well, i don;t think it's the aussie guy's chicken. ![]() stolen chicken :D baked in BBQ sauce ![]() bak ku teh with too much chicken stock (i was too impatient), too much soya sauce and pepper but jenia (canadian russian liked it! hohoho) sighh so much to do like 1) packing 2) cleaning room 3) clean kitchen 4) pack for london bright side: going to London on Monday. (trust me after Primark and oxford street i dont know if im going to need a new luggage) i want to get back to see my lovely friends and relatives but it scares me that things might change friendships could have changed we might not be as close anymore i am not the biggest fan of change :( and i guess somehow i'm so used to my life here cooking my meals looking after myself skyping w my parents when i feel lonely otherwise, pretty much self entertaining trotting a good 20min to the grocery store to buy ingredients needed i've learnt so much these months about taking care of myself that people tell me "i think your parents will be glad to know that the money has been well spent on such a valuable experience to teach yourself how to appreciate the conveniences you had" honestly, before this i thought not knowing cooking was 'normal' but now i think not knowing basic stuff like cooking is.. your loss really. ahh well. why am i so reflective time for some light episodes of the office before a long packingggg day tmr :( (and cleaning) |
